Gallery of Quilts

Welcome to Forever's Treasures Gallery of Quilts!

Below you will find thumbnails of quilts I'd like to share with you. Some of them are mine, and some belong to my customers, and are shown here with their permission (thanks, ladies!)

I wish I had room for all of them at one time, but there are getting to be so many, it's not possible to put all of them in at once -- The good thing about that, is that whenever you come back to my site, you'll get a chance to see new quilts! I'll be changing the gallery bi-weekly, so come back soon to see all the other wonderful quilts I have to show you!

If you have a quilt finished by Forever's Treasures, YOU, also, will be asked for permission to post -- and I'll consider it an honor if you grant permission!

This pretty quilt was made by Doloris Craig, of Lincoln, NE. Doloris is a member of my quilt guild, and a prolific producer of beautiful (and fun!) quilts. We quilted the Baptist Fan pattern on the quilt.
A quilt I made as a donation for a local raffle fund-raiser. It was created entirely from scraps in my "scrap box", and the challenge I made myself was to "cut NO new strips" for the quilt. It was fun to do, and now has a good home with a local family. The quilt was stippled in the light areas, allowing the darker parts to serve as a major design element.
Loretta Cronin of Diamond Bar, CA is responsible for this beauty! It's a scrappy drunkard's path, set in the "trip around the world" manner. It was neat to see all the different fabrics Loretta used. I don't think ANY of them matched the ones in my own stash. Isn't it great the variety of fabric available to quilters right now? We stippled in the light areas, leaving the dark parts free to shine as the main design - a very effective look, I think.
Michele Weise of Moorpark, CA send me this quilt to finish for her. the center part of the quilt is quilted with the Baptist Fan design, the wide blue borders with a stipple, and she finished it with some wonderful prairie points. The really great thing about this quilt is that it now serves as an "ambassador" from Michele's family to a family in Japan (host family to Michele's son in 1998), and Michele tells me it was very well received. Michele is an artist: check her website - http://www.peppertreestudios.com
This quilt belongs to Della Dixon, a member of my quilt guild from Welfleet, NE. The quilt was a group effort, spearheaded by Kathy Stencel, another member, as our Christmas Quilt in 1997. Each year, we cooperatively produce a quilt top, which is won by a member in a drawing at our Christmas party and Della was the lucky one on this quilt! Our quilting included leaf medalions in the dark border, fantasy flowers in the light areas around the applique vine and stippling in the light areas of the center.
Linda Blair of Torrance, CA, made this great quilt for her son, TC - see the T's in the center of the blocks? Great, huh? Now, in the border, we quilted the ocean wave pattern, and it looks like "c"s, so it really is a TC quilt! The center is stippled with black in the dard parts, and that makes the T's pop out really well. This quilt is one I really wish you could see in person. Just a really great look!
This quilt is one of four quilts I did for Jean Mehaffey from Florida. Although the quilts were constructed similarly, they all came out differently, and I really liked the look that came out! We did a BIG meander on the quilts in bright colors to contrast with the bright, solid-color backings. Two of the quilts were disney/cartoon designs, and the other two were cats & dogs (I liked the cats/dogs best!!!). These quilts were a lot of fun to work on.
